Purpose: To lead, communicate, and involve our congregation in various community and world-wide mission ministries.

Local
Through donations to our emergency fund, we give monetary assistance to residents requesting help to pay their utility bills, rent, fuel, etc.
Through donations (monetary and food) to our emergency food pantry, we give food items and grocery vouchers to residents in need of food.
Those requesting help must reside in the Apollo-Ridge Schoo

All information in regard to those requesting help is kept strictly confidential.
Global mission
AUPC is in a partnership with a church in the Gitarama Presbytery of Rwanda. We have helped this church family with prayers and funds to build a new church. This is an on-going mission for AUPC.

Our congregation donates cans of soup for the ‘Souper Bowl For Caring’ in February. Half of these donations stay in our emergency food pantry and half is given to the A-R Food Bank.
AUPC houses and supports the community sponsored Food 4 Kids backpack program.
Our congregation has put together buckets of supplies for Presbyterian Disaster Assistance.
The Mission Team has sponsored blood drives and helped Habitat for Humanity with Rock the Block community clean-up and repairs.
